The Gilbert Lab develops functional genomic approaches to understand how genetic variation contributes to human disease. By integrating experimental and computational methods, we investigate the molecular basis of rare genetic disorders, including Alagille syndrome, and generate evidence to improves variant interpretation, diagnosis, and precision medicine.
